My name is Kim Stevenson, and I am part of the HomeGirls of Xsell Realty Team. I grew up in Lansing (go Vikings) and have lived in Dewitt for 15 years now (Go Panthers). I have four kids and a crazy dog that takes up most of my free time. When I do have free time, I enjoy camping, traveling and attending concerts.
I was a stay-at-home mom for many years until about 3 years ago when I found myself having to look for a full-time job. I started working full time at an amazing Law Firm in East Lansing as a legal assistant for a family lawyer. While I did truly love my job and the people I worked with, I came to the realization that working in an office 8-5 each day was not what I was meant to do. I am a people person, I love being on the go, and I missed having the flexibility to be able to work around my kids schedules. I just recently made the decision (February 2021) to put my notice of leave in, and pursue my dream to become a full time Realtor® . I chose this path so I can manage my own schedule around my clients and my kids needs. I also chose to become a Realtor® because I know I will LOVE it! I will love seeing my clients smiling and excited when I help them find their dream home, I will enjoy the fulfillment I will feel when helping and interacting with new people each and every day, I will enjoy the flexibility, and of course I will love the pure enjoyment of being able to move and groove all while I am working 😊.
I feel so blessed that I have this opportunity, and what makes it even better is that my two great friends and I created a real estate team and are doing this together. The purpose of creating a team was knowing that together we are stronger, more knowledgeable, and can encourage and push each other to our max. Another key factor was that because there are three of us, we can ensure our clients that someone is always available! It is a pretty amazing feeling knowing we can guarantee our clients that they will receive the 100% attention they deserve.
