What does that mean?
If you are in the market to purchase a home, an agent that sells could be pushing houses on you hoping that you will find interest in one.
If you are in the market to sell a house, an agent could be throwing a selling price at you just to get you to list.
The first step with my team is sitting down and listening to your goals. Are you downsizing, upsizing, moving local or out of state, retiring, starting a family. What is your story? We want to know. My clients are given options to a pricing strategy based on the story they tell.
The Boring Part
What experience do you have?
After my first college run I started selling door to door. That’s when I decided not to sell.
Later I started in the cell phone industry and had great success. Awards and bonuses and promotions came quickly. Then a merger that lead to a layoff that lead to the mortgage industry. Then venturing into the foreclosure industry and helping people understand their credit scores.
When the economy crashed and I started processing mortgages for a large bank. The paperwork was making me miserable.
A layoff lead to a job in business to business sales. During this time I got to know my current broker and loved what he was doing in the real estate industry.
